Fitness plan day 306 – Spend 10 minutes meditating in the morning

Take rest but don’t break your habits. You need to wake up on time and eat right. But you can give rest to your tired muscles today. Stay on track and practice some yoga or light exercises. You can skip either your gym or home workout routine for a day.

Morning – Drink a glass of warm water the moment you wake up to stay hydrated. After this, begin with meditation. Meditation is just like exercise for the brain. It helps develop focus and keeps you alert too.

Breakfast – Aloo or gobhi paranthas are a regular thing. Make something different today. Green parantha incorporates leafy greens. Carrots, gourd and even sesame seeds along with multigrain flour making it a nutritious breakfast for even the pickiest of eaters. You can pack them for kids’ lunch too.

Yoga – You can take rest fro0m other exercises to soothe sore muscles but you can always practice yoga to relax the body and calm the mind. Try these 5 yoga poses today so that you don’t feel tired.

At the gym – You can take a break from the gym today. Go for a stroll with friends or walk your pet. Breathe in fresh air and make yourself happy. After all, laughing out loud or keeping happy also affects your health positively.

Sleep well tip – Before you go to bed, drink a glass of warm milk. You can add nutmeg or turmeric to it for a relaxed sleep. Adding turmeric can help in soothing sore muscles too.
